Born in Oregon, Travis John Klune displayed a love of writing from an early age, penning fan fiction for his favourite video game Metroid. His debut novel Bear, Otter and the Kid (unfortunately currently unavailable) was published in 2011 and reflected Klune’s desire to see queer characters and relationships portrayed in a nuanced and realistic manner in literature.
